A judge for the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts ruled Tuesday that some grand jury materials from the 1971 Pentagon Papers case must be released.
The decision comes from the denial of a Freedom of Information Act request for the grand jury materials. The petition was filed with the court “approximately two months after” the denial of the request.
Judge Allison Burroughs ruled that the materials must be released for a few reasons.
