The Board of Trustees of the State of California announced Tuesday their proposed recommendations to the California Supreme Court regarding both the July 2020 Bar Exam and the June 2020 First Year Law Exam.
The Board plans to propose two possible scenarios to the California Supreme Court. Under the first scenario, the First Year Law Exam would be online and on schedule in June 2020, while the Bar Exam would be postponed to September 9-10. Under the second scenario, the First Year Law Exam would be postponed to November 2020 while the Bar Exam would be cancelled with the creation of a Task Force to determine next steps for 2020 graduates.
