Sure, I could talk about the new legislation pending at the General Assembly but until we get an actual vote (instead of just committee), we’re still in speculation territory. (The CBIA has an update here.)
And sure, I could talk more about the NLRB’s aggressive decision to try to invalidate most confidentiality and non-disparagement clauses and the General Counsel’s memo attempting to foreclose arguments. But again, until we get a court decision on the subject, it’s still unclear where this is going to end up.
Instead, I’ve been thinking a lot about ChatGPT and it’s impact in the workplace. Is it going to replace some of the legal work we’re doing? What about the blog posts we write?
